What is an Omxus account?
An Omxus account lets you sign in to every site and app that uses Omxus with one email address or mobile number, one password or passkey, and nothing new to remember for each site.
You see Omxus on a site's own sign-in screen. The screen carries the site's name and look, and a small Omxus ring. Whichever site you start on, it's the same account.
What your account is for
Your Omxus account does one job: it proves it's you when you sign in, and it keeps that proof safe. It isn't a profile, a feed or a mailbox. The things you do on a site, like posts, favourites or purchases, stay with that site.
- One account, every site. Sign in once and carry on across sites that use Omxus.
- Your identity stays yours. Sites don't get your password, and Omxus never asks a site for your activity.

Find out if you already have an account
You already have an Omxus account if you've created one on any site that shows the Omxus ring on its sign-in screen. Try signing in with the email or mobile number you usually use. If you've forgotten your password, choose Try another way and sign in with a code.
Tip
For your security, the sign-in screen never tells anyone whether an address has an account. It always moves on to the next step, so the screen looks the same either way.

Is Omxus the same as the site I'm using?
No. The site runs its own service, and Omxus handles signing in to it. The site decides what you can do there and looks after the things you create on it. Omxus looks after your sign-in details.
Can I use Omxus without a password?
Yes. You can create an account with a passkey, sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or mobile, or use the optional way in with your name, date of birth and secret words. Compare the ways to sign in.
How do I say Omxus?

Is there a charge for an Omxus account?
