The rules for using Omxus, in plain words

The Terms of Service are the agreement between you and Omxus. They're short, and worth reading. This article points you to the parts people ask about most. If this article and the Terms ever differ, the Terms apply.

What you can expect from Omxus

  • One account to sign in to the sites and apps that use Omxus, and it costs you nothing.
  • Ways to sign in with a password, a passkey, a one-time code, or your name, date of birth and secret words.
  • Notice in reasonable time before a change that materially reduces what you can do, unless the change is urgent.

What we ask of you

  • Follow the law and respect other people, including their privacy and their accounts.
  • Keep your password, passkeys and secret words to yourself. An account is for one person.
  • Don't try to get into accounts that aren't yours, guess codes, send floods of codes, or get around our limits.
  • Don't choose a username that impersonates someone or harasses anyone.

Tip

Found a security problem? We welcome good-faith reports. Use the security report form before telling anyone else.

Sites that use Omxus

Each site is run by someone else. Its own terms and privacy policy apply to what you do there, and deleting your Omxus account doesn't delete your account on a site. Learn how sign-in works.

If something goes wrong

  • Your rights under Australian Consumer Law, and your local consumer laws, always apply.
  • We may turn off an account that seriously breaks the Terms or is causing harm, usually with notice first. Learn more.
  • Tell us first with the contact form. Most problems are fixed quickly that way.

You can stop using Omxus and delete your account at any time.

Need more help?

Ask the site you were signing in to about its own service. For your Omxus account, try these next steps.
