Review your account activity
Your account keeps a record of important security events for 90 days. Use it to check that everything on your account was you.
What the activity record shows
- Account created
- Sign-ins, sign-outs, and failed sign-in attempts
- Someone trying to sign up with your address
- A site given access to your account through the Omxus sign-in page
- Password set or changed
- Email or mobile verified, change started, and change finished
- Failed attempts to confirm it's you before a change
- Passkeys saved or removed
- Usernames chosen
- Sessions signed out
- A sign-in token used twice, which we treat as a warning sign
- Actions taken by Omxus support, like turning the account off or on, or clearing a password
Each event shows when it happened, the site it came through, and the approximate network. We shorten network addresses before saving them, so they point to an area of a network rather than your exact connection.
See your activity
Open your account settings on a site that uses Omxus, and look for recent activity or security events.
If something looks wrong
If you see a sign-in or change you didn't make, secure your account now.
Tip
A few failed sign-ins can simply be a typo, or someone mistyping their own email as yours. Several in a row, from networks you don't use, deserve a closer look.
How long we keep it
Events older than 90 days are deleted. When you delete your account, its activity record goes with it.
